Orders received on a weekend or court holiday are sent to a process server the next business day. Turnaround is counted from the day the server receives the job, and attempts may be made on any day, including evenings and weekends.

Upload every document that must be served as PDF (photos of documents are also accepted). We count the pages for you. Up to 10 files, 25 MB each. Please save Word documents as PDF before uploading.

Most matters are served from the PDFs you upload, and we print the service copies. If your court, another state, or your type of matter requires hard copies (such as originals, certified copies, or documents with an original signature or court seal), call 818-857-4333 to coordinate before ordering. You can also email PDFs to service@californiaprocessservers.com.

Tip: naming each file after the document it contains, such as Summons.pdf, Complaint.pdf or Notice.pdf, helps our office process your order faster. This is optional.

We are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice. We rely on you to provide the correct service address and complete, correct documents. Service is not guaranteed, but we make every diligent attempt. Service is not attempted until payment is received; for urgent matters, contact our office to arrange prompt payment. Fees are quoted per defendant, per address; each additional defendant or address requires an additional fee. Please review the full Terms of Service.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see your card number.

Any order with a due date 8 days or less from the date it is uploaded is automatically classified as Rush, whether or not Rush is requested. Restraining orders and evictions are always attempted as Rush. Pricing may be higher for addresses outside the standard service area.

Handled by the office
