Service Areas

Serving Woodland Hills and all of Southern California

We know the neighborhoods, the gated communities and the courthouses. That local familiarity helps us plan diligent service attempts; timing and successful service are not guaranteed.

Counties We Cover

California Process Servers regularly covers Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego counties. Need service outside these areas? We also coordinate service anywhere in California and, through vetted partners, across the United States.

What coverage across six counties actually means for your case

Southern California is not one service area, it is dozens of very different ones. The drive from our Woodland Hills office to a Riverside County address can take longer than a flight to another state, and a serve in a San Diego condo tower has almost nothing in common with a serve on a Ventura County property at the end of a private road. Covering six counties well means routing assignments so a server is already in the region, scheduling attempts at times that fit the address rather than the calendar, and being honest with clients when a distant address changes what is realistic.

San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles

Woodland Hills, Canoga Park, Tarzana, Encino, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Northridge, Chatsworth, Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Santa Monica, downtown Los Angeles and the South Bay are all regular territory. This is where we run most often, which helps us plan first attempts and trips to the Van Nuys, Chatsworth, Stanley Mosk, Glendale, Pasadena and Santa Monica courthouses when a proof of service needs to be filed rather than just returned.

Orange, Ventura and the Inland Empire

Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Camarillo, Ontario, San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside, Corona and Temecula are served regularly for evictions, subpoenas, restraining orders, garnishments and general civil matters. Outlying addresses in San Bernardino and Riverside counties often need more than one documented attempt, so we plan and price those honestly up front instead of surprising you later.

San Diego County

San Diego, Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, Carlsbad and the surrounding communities are covered with the same reporting and proof-of-service standards used closer to home. Attorneys with matters filed in Los Angeles but defendants living south often use us for exactly this reason: one point of contact rather than a different vendor per county.

Gated communities, workplaces and difficult addresses

Gate codes, security desks, HOA rules and workplace policies are the most common reason an attempt fails. Where a guard will not permit access, there are lawful alternatives, including service at a place of employment, service on a registered agent, or a documented attempt sequence that supports substituted service. Tell us what you know about the address when you send the assignment and we will plan around it.
