Tell us about your assignment

We are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice. We rely on you to provide the correct service address and complete, correct documents. Service is not guaranteed, but we make every diligent attempt. Service is not attempted until payment is received; for urgent matters, contact our office to arrange prompt payment. Fees are quoted per defendant, per address; each additional defendant or address requires an additional fee. Please review the full Terms of Service.

Please do not include confidential case details in this form. Submitting a request does not create an attorney-client or service relationship.

How our quotes work

Routine Service is $120 and Rush Service is $160 for one defendant at one address, with the first 20 pages included per party served. Additional defendants at the same address are $65 Routine or $95 Rush, and CT Corporation Service is $95, or $130 as CT Corporation Rush when the due date is 8 days or less away. Specialty, emergency, out-of-area and unusually complex assignments are quoted separately so you receive a real number before any work begins.

What we look at

The main factors are the distance and city of service, whether you need routine, rush or same-day priority attempts, how many parties have to be served, the document type, and whether you want add-ons such as skip tracing to locate a party or court filing of the completed proof of service. Fee advancement is available for subpoenas that require a check to be tendered; an advancement fee applies. Fees are subject to change, and anything unusual about your matter is discussed before it affects the price.

Estimated first-attempt timing

Jobs are sent to a process server on business days; orders received on a weekend or court holiday go out the next business day. Once the server has the job, Routine service typically has a first attempt within 3-4 days, and attempts may be made on any day, including evenings and weekends. Rush orders get priority handling: orders received before 12pm on a business day are prioritized for a same-day first attempt, otherwise the first attempt is typically made within 1-2 days. Same-day attempts are not guaranteed. Restraining orders, evictions, and orders due within 8 days are always attempted as Rush. All timing depends on server availability and schedule. If your hearing date makes any of that too tight, say so when you submit the form or call 818-857-4333 and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.

After you submit the form

We usually respond within one business hour during office hours with a price and an expected turnaround. Nothing is charged and no server is dispatched until you confirm. Please avoid putting confidential case details in the form; a short description of the case type, city and deadline is plenty for a quote, and submitting a request does not create an attorney-client or service relationship.

Law firms and repeat clients

Firms, paralegals and property managers who send volume can be set up with a dedicated contact and account handling, and net-terms invoice billing is available to qualified firms rather than paying per assignment. If you expect regular work across Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside or San Diego counties, mention it in your request and we will structure the account accordingly.
